Omen Dice

When to use this ruling?

By default, the Omens Roll, made whenever the Doomsday Clock advances, isn’t tied to any particular Omen and is only used to find out how many further Moments advance. By assigning specific die to each Omen at the start and rolling for those, the Guide can add narrative heft to the Omens roll and tie in any unlucky rolls to that Omens’ advancement.

The ruling

1. Assign a die to each Omen at the start of the game.
2. When the Doomsday Clock advances, roll the dice one at a time: on a 5 or 6, the related Omen has made things worse for the heroes. Narrate how.
