How to publish ARC compatible stuff
1 min read
If you have a cool idea on an adventure, module, or other hack of ARC, then great news—you can publish and even sell it to others! Just make sure to…
- Read the Creators License https://arc-rpg.com/license and then…
- Copy-paste the Copyright and Disclaimer (these are two separate snippets!) somewhere in your Stuff
- Add a compatibility logo on your cover or first page
- If you’re uploading on Itch, tag it with “ARC” so other folks can find it
- Optional but appreciated: tag @momatoes on Twitter or email her at hello@momatoes.com when you post it so she can add it to an ARC database 🙂
Creators interested in publishing their Stuff in paper form may also contact projects@exaltedfuneral.com.
If you’re completely new to publishing RPGs or modules, you may be wondering exactly how to do it. Your Stuff can be a PDF, an ePub, HTML, or even artwork. If you want to place it in a “publishing platform” the easiest one is https://itch.io. You’ll need to make an account, then from your account, Upload a New Project.
It’s fairly straightforward from there! (though don’t forget to add “ARC” as a tag!) You can learn more about getting started with Itch via this link: https://itch.io/docs/creators/getting-started
