Available services: Simple Character Doodles | Rendered Character Drawings | Simple Scene | Complex Scene
Simple character doodles — $15
Rendered Character drawings — $40 for face/bust, $100 for full body
Add more for basic background, basic scene, or additional character.
Simple scene — $250+ depending on complexity
Simple scenes have relatively basic backgrounds or render style, but feature character interaction or multiple characters.
Complex scene — $300+ depending on complexity
Complex scenes have rich, textured layers and may also feature collage-style embellishments.
Licensing and usage All pieces are assumed for personal purposes. An additional fee will be placed for commissions intended for commercial projects (25-30% of total fees). I reserve the right to use a small version of your artwork for my portfolio.
Process After the request is placed, I will clarify the commission requirements with you and provide you with the quote. If you are happy, I will create 2-3 thumbnail sketches for your approval. Upon approval, a down-payment of 50% is required before I proceed with the artwork. The completed artwork may undergo up to two revisions, after which additional fees will apply. Once you are happy with the final piece, the remaining 50% must be paid before the artwork is released to you.
Refunds If for any reason I am unable to complete the illustration (such as due to life events or health) a 100% refund will be provided to you. Note that dissatisfaction with the piece is not valid grounds for a refund.
Out of scope
Things I won’t draw:
– Racist/sexist/bigoted imagery
– Gore
– Sexual acts

Layout Portfolio

Available services: Clean Layout | Simplex Layout | Complex Layout
Clean Layout – $60 for first 5 pages, add $8/page for subsequent pages
Elegant, legibility-focused layout with provision for tables, sidebars and spot art. Few unique/art-heavy spreads. Pages are counted in terms of raw content.
simplex Layout – $200 for first 10 pages, add $15/page for subsequent pages
Complex, unique spreads every few pages. The layout balances striking looks and text content. Pages are counted in terms of raw content.
Complex Layout – $50/page
Each spread is lovingly unique. No page layout repeats. Features complex compositions and embellishments. Pages are counted in terms of raw content.
Assets Layout rates assume that, for artworks, you will provide the illustrations. I can also seek out and place public domain artworks free of charge.
Process After the request is placed, I will clarify the commission requirements with you and provide you with the quote. If you are happy, I will create 2-3 sample spreads for your approval. Upon approval, a down-payment of 25% is required before I proceed. At 25%, 50%, and 75% of the document (or at another agreed milestone schedule), I will share progress for your approval. If approved, I will request for 20% milestone payments before proceeding. The remaining 15% will be sent once the layout is complete. Up to two revisions can be requested per milestone, after which an additional fee may apply.
